Dave can best be described as “calm, cool and collected.”  Perhaps he gained these qualities as an Ironman triathlete (that’s a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run), or maybe on the soccer fields at the University of Richmond (where Dave earned his stripes as a Division I athlete). 

More than likely, however, it is from his life as a “lawyer by day (gaining significant trial experience), family man by night (caring for two busy children and one wonderful wife).”

Regardless, his impressive results, combined with an exceptional work ethic, have earned him the respect of his peers in being selected to the American Inns of Court and the Maryland State Bar Association Leadership Academy.

Dave is also involved in the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association, and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the Maryland State Bar Association and Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association; and is admitted to practice before all state courts in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

Prior to embarking on a career in the legal profession, he attended the University of Richmond, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree. He then went on to the University of Miami School of Law, where he obtained his juris doctor degree.
